Societies, groups and individuals are all welcome at Piltdown.
Our society packages can be tailored to your exact requirements and can include golf, drinks and superb food.
Friendly and efficient service has always been at the heart of the club’s popularity with our visitors, and our staff is also there to help plan your day.
Dress Code
On the course, usual golf attire is expected. Shorts must be tailored (no cargo shorts) and worn with sports socks of any length. Men's shirts should be tucked in.
In and around the clubhouse, smart casual wear or clean golfing attire is acceptable. Please do not wear frayed, torn, split or unevenly faded items of clothing. Please do not wear flip-flops in or around the clubhouse.
In the dining room, men are to wear jacket and tie, except on days when this requirement is expressly relaxed.
Catering
Piltdown has an outstanding reputation for food, and there is a tempting and varied menu on most days of the week. All our food is homemade and we are fortunate to have three chefs who complement each other so well. Lizzie Harman is our catering manager and her baking and farmhouse background has given her an excellent reputation for home baked pies, cakes and puddings.
An enticing range of bar snacks is available in the lounge bar, including sandwiches, paninis, brunch, fish and chips, and daily seasonal specials. Our house manager Emilie and her team will ensure you receive a friendly welcome and efficient service.
